Sorry ,I didn't take any pics during the process. But it's simple to do , take your wheels off , Wash them down to remove all dirt and brake dust on the front and rear side of the rim.Sand every part that you're going to paint with sand paper (mid-course - not rough enough to scratch or carve into the rim) then move to a lighter sand paper and sand it until the rim is completly smooth to the touch. Wash the front and back of the rim to clean off the sanding dust. Wipe it down dry. Make sure theres no water standing around the valve stem ,etc. Once it's dry and very smooth , you can try the playing cards or index cards (sticking them down between the rim and tire ,to block the paint from the tire) or like I did use masking tape and carefully tape completly around the rim ,blocking the paint from overspray onto your tire. Now your're ready for several light coats (going with black , you can choose to tape up your valve stem or repaint it black) Make sure you cover the entire rim with light coats , I painted the backside first ,with the wheel standing up then laid it flat and painted the front. After your're satisfied with a smooth painted rim ,you can choose to clear coat or not. If you clearcoat them , just make sure they're completly dry ,then repeat - light coats and cover the entire rim. After the paint is all dried remove the tape and re-mount the wheels onto the truck. During any time spray painting the wheels ,if you see trash or a run- stop and let it dry & lightly sand over that area and lightly spray it again. Good Luck

Not far from me. Maybe I'll see you on the road sometime. I pass down 280 all the time. I'd love to see those wheels in person.

Looks great man. I'm probably going to do the same thing. The stock rims actually look good IMO, just need to be painted a darker color.

BAMA TRD. I like the paint job on the wheels. I am thinking about doing something similar. Or maybe chrome plating OE 16" wheels. I too would like to see them in person. I live in Hoover. I sometimes ride down 280. I work with a guy that lives in Vincent. City councilman. Great paint job.

Thanks , no lift , bought the truck on May 5th -it was all stock except for the tires , 285/70/17's. They rub on the UCA's at full turn , probably gonna drop to 265's soon , after these 285's wear out, shouldn't be long
