Hey where do you plan on taking your mesh grill to get powdercoated? Any idea on how much that costs?

I know a guys who does powder coating in Gardena. His shop is right behind where i work...

Im not sure how much the cost will be...

He quoted me for $35 a wheel if i wanted black wheels though...

So i imagine not too much...

thats a pretty good job, the only thing I don't like is the little black pieces on the side were also painted white, I would of left them black for some color up front..

I didn't really want them like that... but they were being a bitch to tape up perfectly...
Once my gril goes back on, they wouldn't even show up though...

My mesh grill completely covers those two little "vents"....
So they wouldn't even show up as white once my mesh grill is back on :)

Good job. I like how you color matched the Toyota emblem.

It may just be the picture but....I really liked the look of the sanded chrome. It was almost a satin finish. I bet the satin look would look classy on the new Grey colored 09's. my $.02 I think your on to something.

I used a "sanding block" i had laying in the garage (dont remember the exact grit, but it was fine)
then i used 800 grit, followed by a 1000 grit...

Paint was $23 a spray can (including shipping)

The primer, adhesion promoter, and clear were about $16 at my local Autozone
