Yeah, I called 3 times before I finally got ahold of someone. I don't know if it matters but I made sure to get David in parts. He took the order down and said it'd ship out tomorrow morning!

EDIT: The service guy told me he doesn't get in til around 9ish in the morning.

For helping me spend $184.99, :)
Just ordered, David is very easy to work. Will be selling my Chrome 2009 stock grille once I finish the Satoshi on this new one.

FYI - The Picture on page 1 of this thread is the wrong David....

LOL, that is funny...I have never met him. Honestly I didn't even care what he looked like as long as he continues to take care of us! So far he has the lowest prices on every OEM part I have talked to him about. Don't just limit yourself to this one part guys. He has SKILLZ!!!

I actually called my local Toyota dealer, the one I purchased the truck from brand new, and razzed them a little. I explained how it was sad that I could buy a part from a Toyota dealer in NC and have it shipped to my door cheaper than they would sell me one that I'd have to pick-up. Didn't give them the dealer's name though so they can sit and chew on that for a while... :D

LOL, I agree with you totally! I did the same exact thing with my dealer here. It is absolutely amazing how much the price differs from one dealer to another on EVERYTHING!!!

Did you guys receive tracking numbers pretty quick? I got an email confirmation that my part "had arrived" lol and an automated phone call to schedule an appointment to have it installed. Im still waiting for the tracking number email I was told I would receive.

No tracking number yet. I got an e-mail and a call from the service department (automated phone call recording) saying my parts were in and to schedule an appointment to get them installed. I called David and asked what was up and I guess it's just automatic even though they're shipping. The last guy who ordered a grille never got a tracking number, it just showed up at his house a couple days later.

The Reno Toyota parts guys are total jerks when it comes to price matching. They main guy has even told me several times that he would suggest I go elsewhere because of the price difference. Now the service there is different, they did my tsb without batting an eye!

Okay, still the new guy, so may be a dumb question. Will the 2011 grill fit on a 2010? I definately like the painted better than my chrome. (if so, I'll be ordering tomorrow after a quick call to my local dealership)

Grilles should be interchangeable from '05+. I just put a 2011 grille on my '07.

Booo.... well bad news and good news. Good news is new grille ordered and hopefully shipped today. $184.99 to my door in Utah. (Local dealer quoted me $240 and laughed when i said I could get it $185 shipped)

Bad news is that Toyota changed the black between 2010 (my truck, color code 209) and 2011 (my desired grill, color code 202). So oh well, got a 2010 model instead, but I did like the honeycomb.

I'm guessing I'll post up my chrome grill for sale here after my new one comes in! (although I'm not that hopeful as I'm sure everyone else is doing the same :) )

Thanks for the lead linwood... Dave was super nice and helpful.
