Painted the console Black....

Looks good. I'm curious to see how it holds up, you'll have to update it in a few months I really wish there was an option for everything to be black (or at least make base black with aluminum or grey trimming instead of the other way around). That's the one thing I like about the nismo frontiers better.... the only thing.

When I did mine I used Rustoleum All Purpose, Satin Black, 4 coats.

 

i like this way much better. the first one all black is too much looks like some one got trigger happy...lol this looks sharp tho i like.

 

- I painted my console

- took pics, was all set to contribute

.....then I dropped the SOB and now its tore all the hell up

 

Me thinks the painted consoles will scratch even worse now. Hope not.

so how do you take of the actual console?? I want to just paint the lower portion (where the cup holder is) Anybody have directions/[ictures on how to take it apart???

It's the PA15-TOY adapter cable. Here's a pic.

 

It will pull up and off. Just use a plastic wedge or something on one side and work your finger around until you get a side to pop loose. You won't hurt anything.

 

All look really good. Saw Razor's in another thread. I like that color/texture the best. BBQ paint? Really?
