i am strongly considdering it. i want to make sure that the paint holds up well before i do that though since the center console cover gets a little more wear. but i think that would sortof complete the blue "theme" on the inside of the truck. thanks for the suggestion.

so far so good, granted it's only beed a few weeks, but it's not fading or chipping at all. i go to school in florida, and while it's still winter, last week it was consistantly in the high 80s low 90s, aadn i was parked with it directly exposed to the sun all week. the paint i used is actually meant to be for the exterior of a car, so it should hold up fine in the long run, both to wear and heat.

"dupli-color truck, van, and suv" the color name is "intense blue pearl" it matches the swb almost perfectly....it's meant to paint exterior excessories like spoilers or fender flares, so it should hold up fin on the insede of the truck

Nice. I've been thinking about doing that on my truck too, just in Barcelona Red.

As far as the paint holding up, I've done the same thing in my Matrix, and it's held up for six years now. The only chipping that I have had so far is right around the window controls on the drivers side, but I think that the factory paint would have done the same thing.

yeah, it's holding up better than i could have expected. i've had it painted now for jsut over a month, and it looks as good as the day i put it in. i even scraped my key against it when i wasn't looking while trying to start the car, and there wasn't even a mark.
