I finished painting and just put the wheels back on. Here's mine:

The paint and primer just started to peel off on the drivers side, but the passenger side tires are still covered. Once the paint peels, I'm gonna have to shine the tires up.

p.s. as you can see in the background of the last picture, some of my neighbors can't drive...

Is it smart to take off the lugs so I don't paint them black too and let the truck rest on the bolts? Well not "safe" because I know that answer, but is it more than likely gonna result in me regretting it or not?

If you have a jack, and some stands i would recommend taking the wheels off. I dont know if leaving the wheel sit with no lugs on would be good

Bolo: Maybe you can help me clear something up. I'm trying to figure out which wheels I had on my truck, same as yours. Are they alloy or aluminum? To anybody else: what wheels are standard with 4wd AC SR5? Looking for replacement vehicle and making decision on wheels.

they are the 16" wheels from the TRD offroad package, and I believe alloy.

I recognize that I had 16", but can find no info on what is standard on 4WD AC SR5. No info on Toyota.com; If standard on TRD OR, were they avail. on '07 4WD SR5. To clarify, if purchasing a 4WD with SR5, which wheels are included on '09. I want what I had/those you have and need to be armed before approaching (st)ealer with invoice price. This info is not obvious on Toyota's site or searching forum. Thanks in advance for replies.
