Has anyone painted a bumper with the sensors in it?

I have a 2019 TRDOR with the blind spot sensors and want it to look different than every other @&$#ing cement out there...

Before going with something like the apogee bumper was wondering if painting it black or even rhino lining the colored parts of the bumper would screw with the sensors. I guess I could derp it and see, but looking for something more permanent.

    crappy picture cause why not

    Thanks!

I am assuming you mean the rear bumper??? If so:

The bumper cap/covers are removable - take them off carefully, paint whatever color you want, and re-install. Done

    OR

Use painter's tape to carefully cover the blind spot sensors, paint the bumper, remove the tape. Done
