What’s up guys. I just got a set of bushwacker fender flares and was considering painting them with something similar to rhino liner in order to get more of the shine off of them and to give them a rougher look. Have any of you done something like this? If so got any tips for a DIY paint job?

I did my factory fender trim and other accents in bed liner (Rustoleum rattlecan bed liner with a coat of plastic compatible rattlecan primer underneath). Works great, easy to touch up, helps to disguise deeper dings and gouges from the trail.

As far as application advice, I absolutely do not mean to be condescending, I mean this honestly: Whatever product you go with, whether it's a rattlecan of Rustoleum bed liner or tintable Raptor Liner, follow the directions on the container to the letter. Don't take shortcuts and don't use whatever method you find on the Internet where someone else does it a way different than what the can says.

And do it off the truck! No matter how well you think you masked everything off, you're gonna be mad if you don't!
