Hey everyone. I am currently in the process of doing a few things which includes painting my wheels, behind my grill and my cat back TRD exhaust tip. I havent taken a close look at the tip yet, but I assume it is welded on.

Has anyone had any success painting theirs while it was still attached to the truck? Any tips aside from just taping newspaper over everything to protect from over spray?

I held up a piece of large cardboard to prevent overspray. I used high temp BBQ paint. Lasted until I cut off the exhaust and dumped it.

I used high temp BBQ paint on my stock exhaust and its still on there over a year later. Follow the directions on the can.
