I'm sorry if this has been covered but I searched and couldn't find anything. I want to paint the silver circles around the tweeters and instrument panel. I know some people on here have done it and was wondering what the process was to remove the panels or did you just tape it off? Any help and pics would be appreciated.

Looks great! Do the tweeter rings just pop off? I heard somewhere you have to heat up clips to get them off. I'm scared to do this as I don't want to screw up and then the clips not go back on.

Yeah, I think I explain it in that thread. but yes, you do heat them up. Pretty easy. Used a lighter to heat them and some pliers to manipulate them off and on.
