So I have a can of Dupri Color BR but I’m wondering if I should plastic Dip it instead just in case I think it’s to loud. Looks like most of y’all painted so is dipping not recommended?

Dipping works ok if your ok with the finish on it. I used the duplicolor on mine. I have only done the center dash trim, but very happy with it .

It looks really good!! May try dip and a few coats of clear enamel to help with dust and fingerprints first . Just noticed I have the notorious 3rd brake light leak today so I’m sure my dealer is going to have to rip my inside up

I just had that completed. New brake light and new head liner since mine was pretty stained from the water leaking in

My stain isn’t too bad but it’s there. He said a new one is like 1k so I said how about we replace my 2in1 fog lights that have condensation with some Rigid and throw me in a switchback DRL board In my headlights and just seal it off that I may can live with a little discoloration in the fabric!! It saves them money so we’ll see. I hate so many are leaking

I could have sworn that trim piece was colour matched to the truck. The inferno sport I looked at is matched, as well as my silver sky metallic. Is it just a TRD Sport thing?

I wanted them to put in a black headliner and they told me nope, couldn't be done. They have to order off the vin number.

Ahh, just a coincidence then that those were the only 2 I looked at. Thanks for your reply!

It seems a bit lazy that Toyota didn't match them for all colours.

Trust me, if you need to order one of these --it is enough of a nightmare just to get the right one. Most Toyota Parts departments don't know this many different ones are available. I had to get a larger one for my head unit upgrade, then I was faced with getting the right color to match my existing interior trim.

Anyone else have any pics with the whole interior painted factory quicksand? On the fence and was curious if anyone else did all the trim inside like the steering wheel, shifter trim, climate control trim, door control panel trim etc..

I painted only one of the accent lines. I like the way it came out, but if you look close you can tell it was done by me. I’ll be redoing them, but I like the look of the single line.

OV 93 tune, TRD pro intake, LED headlights, LED interior lights, tuffskinz interior overlays "RCF", tailgate inlay, Illuminated kickplates, blue interior compartment inlays. Painted voodoo blue interior trim, nitto ridge grapplers, bara 1 inch spacers, redline pro hood struts, trd oil and radiator caps.
Holy balls, I MUST do this. Where in gods name do I get voodoo blue paint? I've been looking for quite some time with no luck. I wont settle with "eh.....its close enough" I want it to be almost impossible to tell apart if I layed one of the trim pieces on my hood.

The duplicolor is probably your best shot

Just remember the most important part about doing this mod is the prep.

    (1) The first thing i would do is wash each panel with soap and water.
    (2) Sand everything smooth with 1,200/1500.
    (3) Wipe everything with rubbing alcohol.
    (4) Spray all panels with adhesion promoter.
    (5) 2 coats Primer sand smooth the second coat with 2000.
    (6) Spray 2/3 coasts of base depending on color.
    (7) 2/3 coats of clear.
