Has anyone tried to remove the trim around the gauges in the cluster? I may try, i figure it takes heat like a headlight housing

The Hydro dip looks phenomenal. Best I've seen and elevates interior. Looks very high end. Well done.

I used a krylon fusion base, film from TWN and a 1k clear coat. its pretty easy when you get the right timing for the dip process and i used a cheap plastic storage container as a dip tank.

the steering wheel is pretty simple, on the left and right side you’ll see smaller trap doors that just pop off. Behind them are bolts that hold the air bag on, if i remember correctly they are torx. Once they are out pull the airbag off and disconnect. The screws to take the trim off are under it. The steering wheel buttons screw to the backside of the trim.

i didn’t do the door yet, I’m working on the shifter trim first. Door panel trim for the control just pull up or pry with a plastic tool.
