Painting my carpet?

    So I have tan inteior in my tacoma and I want to go all black..everything. SEM makes some vinyal paint i can do the dash and stuff with but what about the carpet, is there some sort of dye or paint? I know it can be done just dont know exactly what im looking for. And if anyone has done this, pictures would be great!

    About 25 pounds of spray paint and vinyl dye
    Duplicolor makes vinyl/fabric dye. I researched that and found this thread, among others:

    For the carpet, honestly, I'd just buy a carpet kit in black. I think it's around $120.

    But I would use the fabric dye for the door panels and seats.

    I've used a few different carpet dye's before , they work but they make your carpet stiff and nasty. Just buy a new carpet liner for it, best way to go.

    Thanks guys, and I have thought about the bed liner, but how will it hold up in the heat...?

    It'd hold up fine in heat.

    The inside of your truck would look unfinished, be louder and not have a comfortable feel to it. JMO
