I picked up a Kobalt slim toolbox from lowe's on black friday. I can't stand the color of it. I was wondering which way would be best to paint it. Truck bed linking, or semi gloss black?

i'd probably go with bed liner as it will stand up better in the long run...

I painted the lid of my kobalt box with satin black. I used "self etching primer" and scuffed down the aluminum pretty good with steel wool before primering. It has held up great in the sun/rain over the last year or so. I have not put it through much abusive handling which has helped. But wanted to share how i painted mine for you guys.
