    even if you spray it the heat can still travel through the paint....and well RADIATE to the outside air. so it will not effect it at all in theory.

    i love theory. we may have gotten a bit off topic. some spray paint can handle temperatures of about 200 degrees, while the high heat paint can handle temperature that reach a constant temperature of 500 degrees (so says the back of my spray cans) so radiator heat is all realtive as to who is defining what hot is. i'm still going to laser temp my radiator fins...

    No problem with painting unless you are slapping on 10 coats or more to create an insulation layer. BSME. Don't think the professors would teach me BS. I will check the temp with my temp gun too. I would say the front doesnt get all that hot. Figure the laws of thermodynamics and the surface area.

    Mine still gets hot. Not necessarily hot hot, but hot enough that I don't want to touch it for very long.

    Mine is painted. I used just standard krylon paint. Satin black I believe.

    No problems.

    I painted the radiator & condenser. Later in life, I painted the intercooler.

    By the way, if paint doesn't insulate and affect heat transfer, you should be able to paint your MAF sensor.
