Painting Specific Areas?

    So what did you spend the insurance money on?

    You either get body and paint work done right or you keep re-doing it until it is.

    Or, slap a camo paint job on the truck and call it good. Retouch as needed.

    I was just wondering, as most shops will give you a quote that includes the body work. Will you be getting that fixed? If not, can you live with that dent just being painted over? Myself...I'd have to get it fixed if I were going through the trouble of getting it painted.

    As mentioned by others, you can fix that yourself, either by pulling it out or trying to pop it out from the inside. Once popped/pulled, I'm sure you'll have to do a little bit of Bondo work on it.

    As a side note, based on your pictures, I am surprised that there isn't any frame damage. You got slammed.

    No self respecting shop will paint over that dent. Hell, no high school body shop would.
