Painting time

I would not use that product. Automotive Paint holds up from the elements. Krylon is not very durable

 

Powder coat will Chalk over time from the UV. Epoxy primer over properly prepped metal and then a good single stage matte urethane will hold up very well. Also if you damage them. You can remove them and refinish them.

 

I’ve had good luck using Caterpillar brand paint for my bed rack, been sitting in the grass the last 2 years and still looks like it did when painted 4 years ago. I’m sure Cat doesn’t make their own paint but it seems to be a good product !
