    Ok so.. Im thinking about painting my stock wheels on my truck. Not sure which color to go with though. The truck is a 2006 Radiant Red DCSB. Im thinking about painting the wheels either black or gun metal.. Im thinking that gun metal would look good on the wheels but Im not sure.. What do you guys think?

    I roughed mine up with (if I remember) 320 grit. Sprayed them with a self etching primer and then painted with dupli color graphite wheel paint. So far they have held up great with no chipping at all.

    Mine need to be painted or powder coated to get the funky road crud and alloy corrosion off them. What will help the paint adhere to the plastic hub cover?

    And gunmetal takes the lead. Which one are you leaning towards OP? I still think black would be sick with red. Get the trd center caps, paint them black and leave the trd red, maybe they come in black also? Then you gatta black out your badges to match the wheels. And then find someone trade their black bumper for your chrome one haha. That would be a badass looking setup. Or go with gunmetal and paint your badges gunmetal too ive never seen anyone do that and black bladges are played out so it would be unique

    Black for sure if you plan to beat on your truck. I keep a rattle can in my tool box for touch ups.
    Black and Red are made for each other. I also say remove or black out all of your emblems.
    Any sort of metallic is a bitch to touch up.
