You could do something like what I did with red instead of green

Looks good. I used plasti dip on mine as well back in July and still holding up well along with the rear bumper that use to be chrome. I did the same with the grill but now I have a satoshi and paint matched that. Was gonna do the same with the eyebrows for the headlights but decided to have them color matched as well. You should consider doing your rear bumper and grill. Just take the grill off and spray and for the rear bumper, it's just easier to do it on the truck and tape it off. Even if it gets on the truck itself it'll peel right off without harming the surface in any way.

Yea.. My next thing to do is paint the rear bumper aswell.. I was going to do that today but my buddy and I ended up working on his mustang aswell while we did the plasti dip job. Another thing to do next weekend! I should be hopefully getting my Satoshi grill here pretty soon.

Several colors look great with gunmetal. I would probably choose black for the red. Of course the FJ Team Trails would be my rim of choice.

I do like the FJ wheels for sure! I would love to get my hands on a set of them sometime!

Just a tip, if you haven't already figured it out. When you pull off the masking tape, do it while it is still wet. That way it doesn't stick to the masking tape and pull up when you unmask it.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Nice! Black wheels look nice on red, good choice OP. i still think you should get some red in there. It would be a alot of work with taping and stuff but the toyota logo would look good red.

Pop off the center caps, use a heat gun to melt the plastic tabs on the backside and pop them off then sand prime and paint. Then just reattach using some epoxy or guerilla glue. That's what I did. Easier than taping it off and risking messing parts up and having to start the entire wheel all over again.
