Hey, I'm new here. Does anyone have any advice on what kind of paint to use on my Tacoma. I love purple and have thought of covering my chrome emblems. Any advice of what kind of paint to use and maybe how to go about doing it? Thanks

Remove the chrome > clean > rattle can adhesion promoter > paint with whatever enamel you find in a rattle can. I personally wouldn't use lacquer.

If I was doing that, I'd just use plastidip. Removing chrome sounds like work.

I have looked at plastidip. They don't have a shade of purple I like. I'm female very picky.

This statement is redundant . Anyway, if you have a hobby store you can get to you should be able to find a selection of purple. Or, if you'd be up to painting them by brush, buy some nail polish you like and try that. If you paint your own nails it should be easy, and you should be able to paint them without having to remove them. If you don't like how they come out you could carefully remove it with nail polish remover.
