A bit of googling and I still haven't found an answer to my problem, so here goes:

I purchased an Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller to haul a smallish trailer with my 2019 Taco. I can get it to pair and work well with an iPhone, so I know the controller and app work, but cannot got the app to recognize the controller on my Samsung Galaxy s10. The app is up to date and it has permissions to access everything. Nothing is blocked. If I look at the Bluetooth screen, it recognizes the brake controller, but the app says that it cannot connect. I know that I'm not supposed to pair the device with my phone (I've also tried this), but rather pair it via the app. I've also tried uninstalling/install the app and still have no luck connecting. I wonder if there is some security/app setting that I'm missing, although I tried a lot of things.

Any suggestions? Easy answer is to use the iPhone, but unfortunately it does not belong to me.

Side note: I have the Ironman FCP lift kit with the performance springs and towing a trailer is so much better vs the stock suspension. Much better control and the ass end isn't way down.

    Thanks for the help.

I would contact the app devs via the store or on their website. Hopefully they have staffed a support function. Get ready to sent screenshots and a detailed step by step of what is happening so the software engineers can understand the nature of your problem. Alternatively, you could buy a Redarc Tow Pro Elite with the harness for your Taco and be set to tow anything -- no bluetooth, no worries about does it work with this phone or tablet, no worries about future proofing so your brake controller doesn't turn into a paperweight in 10 years when your phone is implanted in your noggin.

Edit: there are a LOT of YT vids out there for the wireless brake controller. The few I scrubbed through all seem to be paired to iOS phones. Maybe there is one out there running Andriod.

Thanks for the Redarc suggestion. Looks like a great solution.
I also sent Curt an email, but figured someone here might have had this problem (or maybe not since nothing was on the google machine).

I actually have the same Curt BlueTooth brake controller (just bought it in April), but have only ever paired it with one phone so far, so haven't faced your scenario. I love the controller and ability to use the mobile phone app while driving to tweak the settings on the fly, and to manually apply the trailer brakes independent of the truck brakes.
