    OK so I'm truly considering buying a locking tailgate handle...
    My question about this comes in the form of asking about what camera set up to get to put in the tailgate. I do not have the factory Camera or rate radio or any of that that has that sort of thing. I have an aftermarket but I do not want To buy an aftermarket stick on the outside type camera. I want something that will fit back in The tailgate handle..
    And I cant spend a million dollars for the part either. I would if I could but unfortunately I just can't afford to, as I'm on a fixed income.

    For temporary I've put an anti theft device (hose clamp) on the tailgate but like I said, I'd like to have it lockable & have a rear camera.....

    [QUOTE="ZMan2k2, post: 27339260,

    If the camera is like the non locking one I got, it’s potato quality. But it’s good enough to back into a parking spot.[/QUOTE]

    I looked at that. It's just more than I can afford right now.
    I actually found somebody who has one that I'm trying to work out the details in me getting it. He's offering it for less than half the price of price of a brand new one and it is brand new still in the Box. It just doesn't have the camera already in it. It does have the knockout however to put 1 in, that's why I'm looking for a camera to put in 1.

    Any camera for the pop-n-lock that I’ve seen is either
    A) comes with the handle, or
    B) Is a factory replacement with factory style wiring
