    Are you using spacers for appearance? More then likely you will run at full crank now as you changed your scrub angle, plus spacers aren't a good idea on front wheel bearings.

    without the spacers I was rubbing hard on the uppers. The rims I have now aren't great and I think they are 4.5" back spacing

    The spacers are only temporary. When I can get some new wheels hopefully I won't need the spacers.
