Fresh new cvs in place at 160K. I’d say it was time. Never realized how easy they were to swap out. Good to know and glad to have it done. Now I need to flex some of this on some dirt. Thanks @BnbBlitz for the extra hands and overall quality control. I swing hammer good.

Alright here we go. Polyperformance taco cam tabs arrived today. I’ll install next week hopefully and find out how getting and keeping an alignment can be. I will say this, the bolts and plates are beefy.

you'll like em. I've been running them for a year or so. I did just recently knock my alignment out just a tad, as my steering wheel isnt straight anymore. It happened out at KOH.. and I think its from the little bit of gap between the Cam tab ears/TC gussets and the Poly taco tabs themselves. There's about 1/16-1/8 of gap on a couple of them, so I'm pretty sure it just moved that amount. I plan to waterjet some new tabs that fit perfectly between my ears. Other than that, they have been solid and make for quick and easy maintenance on suspension as well. I went with max caster on the rears (max outboard) and neutral on the fronts.

I’m definitely stoked to try them out. I’m replacing the inner and outer tie rods as well and getting an alignment after. I’ll keep that in mind for the tabs to use. I figured as long as the heimed outer tie rods I got are the same length as stock I would try to match the plates to the cam bolts current location. But I’ve heard to run the max caster from the get go

Also I bought the tc gusset kit but just watched a guy on YouTube use just some scrap steel and welded up the existing cam tabs to make them reinforced. It seemed like a good idea and a way to save $100

Definitely run the max caster rear and neutral front.. or at least start there and see how it is for you. Most likely, you'll like it and or need it for max clearance. Then just roughly set toe with a tape measure across both the front and back of the front tires.. referencing the same spot/lug/etc on each side of the tire. They will just be setting toe at the shop. I would also do the gussets at the same time for sure, and even go a step further and make them fit to the Poly tabs.. that way you dont have the issue I do.. and wont have to go back afterwards. But my factory cam tabs and ears were pretty beat and wallowed out, so when I finally did the TC cam tab gussets, they might not have been in the correct spot and maybe thats why they have some play. just my 2 cents..

Will do with the alignment positions.
That’s where I’m at with the stock cam tabs. Bent and mangled. Makes sense to do the gusset with the plate and just make the gussets fit the plate exactly. Hopefully next week I can put this all together.
