Thanks. I have seen that before and was wondering why. I would have thought the turn down with poly insert would have been enough to center the spare. Thanks for the tip! Yes, a pic would be good.

Haha. My neighbor did come over and ask "what the hell are you doing" thought I stole one of the trucks. The build did start off as nothing then led to something. :p

Thanx dudes! I thought about zerk fittings for it but then thought I would be rotating them enough to justify. Then again, would be super easy to put in so might as well do it.

with how easy it is, you might as well. don't want one siezing up and tearing a bushing when you go to rotate it from one position tothe other.

edit: how are you liking the new welder by the way?

    I might as well. :D

I am getting a feel for it. The toughest part is welding those fish mouths. Been practicing on them a bunch. The first few I didn't have the gas coming through the tip... I then realized the hose wasn't plugged in all the way at the box. lol Im a dumbass.

    haha, live and learn.

the points to the notches can be a little tricky sometimes since you're dealing with less material there. just gotta ease off the bedal a little more

Here are some welds I made on the tire carrier. Of course I am showing my better ones. The three pipe y connect came out a little funky. I should have done that one last as it was the hardest to do.
