Just had to applaud your work Sarah. Very creative with all the different ways you've incorporated the use of paracord. I'm a huge fan of backpacking and camping so utilizing it in everyday items is a nice way to keep it on you at all times (just incase that dire situation does arise). This is a collar I made for my Retriever and it is beyond durable. He is in and out of the salty ocean water a few times a day where most store-bought collars cannot take that extended abuse for even a fraction of that type of use!

    Hey,

I have never made any, but I know it can be done and I will be happy to do it for you! I just need a bit of information from you and some measurements, and I will see what I can come up with! We could do some really cool, easily detachable ones with some heavy duty clips, or jsut some solid ones depending on the design you like. I will PM you with some questions and we can go from there!!

    Thanks :)

If anyone is interested, I am making grab handles that go on the back of the head rests for the back seat passengers. $35 a pair plus free shipping. These are made with the king cobra stitch and a buckle that can hold 535lbs to match the cords 550lb limit.

    20150111_153623_c1b11dab891957f9923f1879488dadb8c6a59ed3.jpg20150111_153629_8d1d8cf82081df03370c33a0bea95601c782d27a.jpg20150111_153634_4ab640cc6c7b70d2bca218f8f5d9164e2c013a6c.jpg20150111_153656_bebf4d38bd27dc521b9b8bdb316d732053c7332f.jpg

Please PM me if interested. Can do any color scheme you like as well as any length.

I must say first off these are way way cool Girl... I love knots and all that sort of stuff to begin with, let alone the extra benefits from stuff like this when things hit the fan; so to say LOL...

I mess around with stuff like this for my on use only, nothing nowhere as extreme and cool as your stuff. I like all this sort of stuff to hang off the ends of certain things I carry on me everyday while at work. Its easier to grab them and pull from a pocket or whatever.

Tact lights and pocket knives of all sorts, then like the keys you have already addressed. May be a few guys here that carry a flashlight as I do everyday and would like these. I used two 72" kavlar shoe strings to make my current one and its in a round design thats about 8" long. Great to help drag the torchlight from my side pocket...

I want one of your braclets just not sure what sort of braids you do though. Now maybe I missed it but have you ever posted a pic of just the different braids and how they all look???

I saw one you mentioned as a fishtail or something that... Was really nice. I have not seen a bracelet done with a stainless cleavish, not sure of the spelling there. But I would like one of those instead of the black plastic buckle. It would be for more useful heavy duty uses in that case we all hope never happens. Just my thinking anyway.

Then another question, I get everything so dirty nasty as I wear and use things, can you wash these things to clean them, ie. like throw them in the washing machine or hand was only or just what??? I love the lime green stuff I have seen here, but as dirty as I would get them not sure if that would be good for a braclet for me LOL...

Anyway, got to get to work here and look forward to getting back with you on this...

Hey, I can do almost any type of braid, but the most popular and also the strongest knot is the cobra stitch. The reason I say this is because the others are weaved in and out of each other whereas the cobra is actually knotted each time you make the loop. If you have a design in mind that you like, feel free to post some pictures or PM them to me and I will be more than happy to make whatever you would like.

I have wrapped knife handles and made smaller "key chain" type fobs for knife ends and backpacks, etc. In terms of keeping these clean, they can be washed. My friend wore his for three years without ever taking it off. He wore it in the shower, working on the cars, hunting, you name it, he wore it. When he took it off three years later to use it to hang a tent while camping, it still looked like it did when I first made it.

I can certainly do the stainless clasps if you would like them. They do look nice when they are done! Just let me know what you would like and I can get it done for you!

Cool deal, I like the idea of strong also LOL... Now just how does one measure like for the bracelet and I can send you the cleavish that I would want, unless you have a line on them and you can get that and add to the cost as well, whatever works best for you on that.

Then with the king cobra stitch, just how many different strands goes into that so as to know how many different colors I could have you mesh up in it??? This is going to be neat, as I have never had anyone do something like this for me, but there is no way I am going to attempt the likes of what your doing. I stick to my fishing knots and braided loops on the ends of big rope and leave all this stuff to you girl, you got skills!!!

To know the size you would want, the general rule is to measure your wrist and add an inch. This will account for the thickness of the bracelet. I can certainly order the stainless clasp that is not a problem.

The king cobra is a regular bracelet of up to 2 colors that is then stitched over by another two strands or colors. Most people generally go with a solid color for the base and then pick another one or two colors to wrap that in. I can do any color combo you would like, so just let me know and I will be happy to get that done for you!

Have you ever done a paracord watch band??? Long story brought this thought up that I won't go into here, just thinking though??? I still have not figured out my colors yet on the bracelet... Something along the brown, tan and sage. Even though I love the lime LOL... Lime, sage and green or brown Hummm. That would be pretty loud on a old guy like me LOL...
