It had quite the following at my local theater... I went to the midnight and every theater was sold out.. as were the three screenings the days before it came out...

Oh yeah the first one was one of the most profitable movies ever made.

True. most people I talk too either think its real scary, or not at all, hackem slash em movies don't bother me at all, I find these much more disturbing.

    SPOILER

The theatre my girlfriend and I saw it in was packed as well. The part where the dude walks into the garage and the crazy witch bitches look at him, some girl in the back was like "OH SHIT" at the top of her lungs. So good.

I watched The Shining last night. It was good, but it wasn't scary to me. It seemed more like a psychological drama in my eyes. I still enjoyed it though.

x2. Sudden movements and loud noises freak me out way more than slasher movies or thrillers. :D

Let's just say there were many pants worn below the waist and I couldn't hear the movie over the "oh shit dawg" and "oh hell nah trick" phrases had to be yelled out at every suspenseful scene. Jacksonville has gone to the shitter.

So what is the last 15 mins that the commercials are saying will change your life? Spoil it for me as I am part of the bunch that didn't think they were scary.
