    Hello TW,

I did a quick search for parasitic current draw, and my particular question is where can I find Toyota's expected limit; i.e., normal operation is 50mA (example) with key off, etc. I would presume in the field manual, but I do not have a copy.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Another tech and I were just discussing this. 75-80mA is acceptable, however I like to see less than 50mA.

This is good information, thank you. I found and downloaded the 3rd Gen Service Manual from here; it's 11000 pages, so I guess I will have some weekend work on searching for "current". :annoyed:

I believe the standard was 80mA after 1 hour. Doors locked and truck asleep.

Took base line values on my 2020 awhile back:

Sitting a week or so: 8.6mA
    Time after key-off:
    2min: 260 mA
    5min: 251 mA
    10min: 253 mA
20min:. 16.4 mA (center display with mileage had just turned off)
    30min: 15.8 mA

    That’s good info:thumbsup:

Not many people would do that, “just to do it”.
    Thanks

Not Tacoma specific, but Toyota's training guide says <50mA. On my Taco, I'm in the low 20's mA after everything is asleep. This is far less than I expected w/all the modules. My 1995 civic draws 50mA.
