I spent the day today trying to locate a parasitic drain. I traced it to the 20 amp door fl fuse. It’s using about 200ma.
Does anyone know what circuits in the door are on the fuse?

Start by pulling the below relays one at a time.
    See if the draw drops

I'll give that a shoot. Hopefully I cant further isolate the problem.

Also, do you know if the proximity handle is on that circuit? That handle like to act funny and lock and unlock when I wash the truck. That might be something.

I believe that is handled by the door control receiver.
It's not powered by the 20A Dorr fuse.

I misdiagnosed the door circuit. Testing again today it makes no change when I remove the fuse. Maybe I tested the circuit too soon after the previous and a module was still powered.

Today I’m seeing less. After reseating the ecu-b connectors I’m seeing less of a draw.
My meter is jumping between .02 and . 12. Is that normal?

Ideally I like to see less than .05A
But modern vehicles has so many modules it might take 1hr+ for the truck to go to sleep.
@Bishop84 probably know what "normal" is.

Toyota said for year anything .08A or less was fine.
However, I don't work on these things daily. The standard might have changed.

    Less that 0.08A

Honestly most Toyotas run well below 0.040A when sleeping.

It could very well be a the drivers front window motor causing this. The fuse only powers the drivers window motor, thats it.

If you have the fob, and push button ignition, the truck is always listening for the device to show up. Also, the mothership (Toyota), is always listening, and monitoring the vehicle as well. There will always be a drain. People need to learn to put the vehicle on a battery tender to full charge every other month. Daily driving, is not enough to recharge the battery fully. Ski

I don't think the truck always listens for the key.
At least not on a Lexus. You have to press the brake first.
Other wise, it wont start. I also think it may look for a door open signal too.

I don't see a need to charge the battery on a tender. If you drive the truck enough, the alternator will take care of that:confused:
If you let it sit for a couple weeks or more, Maybe......

    Cool stuff
Could your key fob be close to the truck?
