    I was told my truck threw a code indicating a defective park/neutral switch. It has been having intermittent issues - the shift lever gets hard to put in gear, feels stiff. Check engine light come on. I've noticed that filling the tank and driving for around 20-30 miles ends the issue for a while. But it has happened several times. A tech told me the fuel fill remedy is coincidental. Could this be more serious? The tech also suggested a replacement of the P/N switch.
