So my coworker has an older second gen. Two inch lift. Running 285/75/16. She has a pretty badass truck. She backed in today next to another 2nd gen (prerunner). I came back from lunch and backed in next to her.
    Her truck dwarfed the prerunner.
I kept looking and ours were looking like the same height. I stared across the bed of my truck and they lined up exactly the same.
    I’m running 265/75/18.

Does the 2019 sit higher than the 2009? I looked under both of them and the ground clearance seems the same. I am stumped. Any ideas?
Maybe I am 1100 miles in and the springs haven’t settled?

    Thoughts?

Yes, 3rd gens sit 1 inch higher than 2nd gens with the same suspension geometry.

Beds are the same depth and size between the 2 generations.

I’m a dipshit and didn’t bother to take any pics. Did t think it mattered at the time, until I was home and thinking about it.
