Parker, AZ kicked my ass

Took a nice day trip to Parker, AZ with a couple of my buddies. First 10 minutes of the trip, I buried my truck and got stuck TWICE... 2wd problems! It was not the start I wanted, but after getting used to the sand and environment, I had a blast. Hit some nice jumps, cruised down trails at 70mph, drifting, etc it was well worth the 3 hour drive. As you can tell in the pictures, I was pretty tired since I fell asleep leaning against my friends truck! I will post up more photos later, these are just the ones of me stuck lol. All the good ones are on a SD card at my buddies.

Note: the moron driving with his steering wheel out the window on the highway is Kaleb Shumway. Used to roam TW when he had his black first gen. He has a Silverado now and still being the goon he is.

Always wondered if sand causes issues with the truck in a situation like this since the wheels are just spinning in place kicking up sand

 

Oh yeah, you can be aired down like no ones business n sink without much effort in 2wd if you dont stop on a downhill.... and if your are not smart even worse in shittier situations in 4x4. haha

Throttle n momentum is your best friend in the sand. Playing in the heart of pismo dunes i find myself almost always in 4LO 3rd n 4th gear (auto) at 3+k rpms
