I have a 07 auto 4x4 and can't find a post about where the adjuster for the foot brake pedal is. Is it below the center console, behind the dash, where?
I didn't want to start just popping trim off in case I unnecessarily break a tab or something. I've adjusted the back brakes though i'm not completely happy with it yet but just did the front pads and rotors and my brakes still feel spongy and the foot pedal travels way too far down.
I'm going to bleed the system and adjust the cable once I know where it's at.

I had my center console off recently and noticed it under there.

    1) Remove shift knob
    2) Pull up center console

    Adjust your rear brakes first.

In the 4 banger manual trans models it's easy job to adjust. Just remove the cup holder behind the shifter in the center console. There is an adjuster nut, and a lock nut, both are 12 mm. I finally did mine today, and what a difference a couple turns makes.

^ Awesome been wondering about how to adjust mine cause when I use it, I have to hold the pedal up by hand for a while so the light stays off when I disengage it.

How did you adjust the rear shoes?

Tighten until the wheel locks then back off the adjuster 15 clicks. That is a proper adjustment by the service manual.
