So I have noticed during freezing temps, the rear wheels lock up on me when I use the parking brake and the truck sits over night. It seems that when I release the parking brake, the brakes themselves do not release. This has happened a few times over the last two years. Has anyone else had this issue, and is there a fix? I've never had this happen with any of my other cars or trucks. I drive a 2017 TRD OR.

Its been discussed here for a long time. If memory serves correctly, it even states in the owners manual to not use the parking brake in freezing temps.

Fluid film will lubricate the E-brake mechanism and keep it from rusting.
