parking brake cables

    When I was looking for a front parking brake cable for my 96 4x4 some sites said that I need two can anyone clarify this?

    2016 GMC Canyon SLT w/ LineX and....
    If you're replacing the entire thing....YES, you need two.

    There's one cable from the pull-handle to the adjustment section.
    There's another cable from the adjustment to the rear of the vehicle.
    There might actually be a third cable to split off to the opposite wheel.

    Go to this website And look for the service manuals. You should be able to find diagrams in there.
