Hi All! I have been looking all over for a OEM replacement for the E-Brake handle on an 16 Tacoma TRD/OR Double cab and can't find anything anywhere! My dog may or may not have made it his chew toy one day while waiting for me in the truck. Any helpful hints or suggestion on where to find one (other than the dealer :) ) would be greatly appreciated!

A junkyard would probably be a good source.

Andysautosport.com has brushed aluminum handles for around $40 He'll never chew that up.

Thanks for the advice on Andy's I saw that too but didn't know what the fitment would be like. I am really leaning towards a OEM replacement at the moment.

That's probably going to be my next stop. I just can't believe no one lists them or even the assembly.

Actually didn't do anything yet. Mine isn't functionally destroyed, just a little ripped up. I'm still looking for an OEM replacement or even a guide for aftermarket replacement??

Use a bicycle handle bar grip and slip it over the original. Drill a larger hole in the end for the push button release.

No problem. It's a great site that I've used a few times in the past.

BJ Baldwin has an e-brake lever on his trophy truck (as featured on Hoonigan's YT channel)...why not on a taco truck?

Watching BJ schwack the loading dock was crazy.

Edit: His loaded tundra is up for sale BTW. A cool 150K takes it.

I need to catch up there. Lately, I've been watching soldering tips and trick and videos about the FCC trying to kill Baofeng radios.

In all fairness, Baofengs are illegal for like, a bunch of reasons...per my understanding anyways. How they managed to get away with stuff for as long as they did is amazing. Speaking of soldering, I gotta do a MARS/CAP mod ASAP for race radio freqs. Which is why I bought a baofeng as a bandaid this morning

    Very true.

Annnnnd! I'm behind on that 8-ball also since I got mine about a month ago and found that I couldn't listen to air traffic. Next up is researching mods to open up those frequencies.

Yeah, they are definitely out of compliance on a lot of things, but I'm also into personal responsibility. So, no crazy Tx for me. Besides with all the hate on drones, these little radios can fly under the radar a bit longer.
