    Is there a tutorial for changing the parking brake cables? Both of mine broke right at the backing plate.

    If anyone could point me in the right direction, I’d sure appreciate it.

    Truck is a 2010 standard cab 4x4, MT if it would make a difference.

    Got cables ordered from Rockauto, and sprayed down all the clamps today with kroil. Hopefully the bolts will come right out next week when the cables show up.

    Well I finished this project up. I can see why the dealer would want $1000 to do this.

    The hardest part was pushing the grommets into their holes underneath the console. That was a pita!
