    Hey guys!

I had a viper remote start put in my Tacoma and it’s awesome in this freezing weather. However, my parking break won’t lock now. It breaks when I push it but it won’t crank down and hold. It has never had a problem before this. I know this is probably an easy fix but need some guidance.

Based on your description I'm guessing you have an auto with the foot brake on the floor?

If so, it's Possible the brake lever is hitting the harness. Be careful as you could potentially pinch or cut a wire. On my install a system module was placed to the left of the foot engaged parking brake. The harness went right by the brake levers mount.

Look under the dash and try to apply the brake with your hand. You should be able to see if the harness is getting in the way.
