Parking Light Bulb Removal....?

    Should be easy enough, yea right. I went to replace my bulbs, removed the connector and the remaining bulb "connector" won't turn counter clockwise. Given my history with plastics I'm a little gun shy to put more ass into turning them. Any hints or encouraging words?

    I learn, almost daily, that nothing is simple....

    Answering my own question, I had to put my big boy pants on and armed with a very long pair of needle nose pliers, I was able to persuade it to turn and removed it.
