This. I don't think I'd notice a scratch with all my trail pinstriping

You are lucky you didn’t meet up with the driver in the lot, if it was my old girlfriend, bad stuff would have happened. She went wild ape sh.. when a guy simply cut her off in a lot and she purposely rammed the guy three times!
:angrygirl: He was scared and drove off fast. That was a short relationship, I left fast too.

Tundra owners are NOT Tacoma owners. I don't mean this to state the obvious, I'm just pointing out that I have rarely met complete jerk offs in Tacomas yet meet them in tundras on a regular basis. Sorry Tundra guys, it's not all of you but you have some moles.

Even though I park far out all alone, when I come back out there is always someone right next to me. And its not always some nice/new vehicle either. And they have to get in the space right next to me, not even skip one space.:annoyed:

Most always, someone parking way other there is as careful as anyone else looking for those spots. You won't see gnarled door edges out there. As you get closer to the buildings, the more rusty door edges that you see. Of course, those peeps drove around for twice that time that it takes to park out and walk in.

Someone keyed my passenger door when I took my wife out to dinner at a nice restaurant one time. I think it was for our anniversary. Anyway I fuckin parked normally and was well within the lines. I double checked my parking after I saw the scratch to make sure I didn't park like an asshole. Also at the time I was reletively new to the area and no one aroind here has any reason to dislike me. Maybe I cut someone off at some point in time ot maybe they thought it was someone elses truck :notsure:Sometimes people are just fuckers for the sake of being fuckers.

    Long thread on this.
Apparently there's some number of our Tacoma loving population that think it's fun to park right next to trucks that have gone out of their way to get as far away from everyone else as possible. Some even take pics and post them up here.
    Blows my mind.

I'll also say that in nearly thirty years on the road, only a girlfriend found me offensive enough to deploy the keys.
That girl made the OP's damage look like a paint swirl.

I feel some of your pain. In 1998 I bought a perfect bright red '97 Dodge Dakota. Within a week someone had keyed the entire drivers side of the truck. The reason I say "some of your pain" is because within a few more weeks the truck had so many custom brush and branch pinstripes that I got over it. Drove it like that until 2011 when I bought the Tacoma. Its covered in custom pinstriping too. :)
