2024 SR5 4x4 long bed

This weekend, I turned my parking sensors off so I could haul a couple kayaks down to the lake with my tailgate down. Since then, I have to turn them on every time I start the truck. They work perfectly until I shut the truck back off. They default to off. Did I do something wrong?
