    Howdy all,

In Toyota's wisdom of how they package their vehicles in Canada, my new 2018 DCLB Sport (with upgrade package) did not come with what I thought would be standard parking sensors. Apparently parking sensors are only available in the Limited trim here in the snowy white north. So was just looking at different options in trying to retrofit sensors and came across this:

Seems like an interesting idea....wireless, no drilling, simple install. Anyone have any experience with this? (or something similar). Granted the "button on the steering wheel" turns me off, but was thinking I could just jury-rig it to be dashmounted with a stock OEM-looking button. TIA!

The parking assist is for the US only. Apparently Toyota Canada think we Canucks can park without help. I won't disagree.!!:canada:

I honestly can’t for the life of me figure out (other than the speedometer) why Canadian vs USA Tacos are configured so differently. I know that countries have different standards for safety equipment on vehicles but most of what appears to be different are convince items. :notsure: Anyone know why?
