Hey guys; new to the forum. I have a 2002 Pre-runner (ext cab) with the 3RZ-FE (4-cyl - auto transmission). While I was detailing and checking the fluids in my "new" truck, I noticed a rubber (hose-like) part laying on the ground under the front end (it wasn't there prior to working on my truck; it is about the size of a quarter (see pic)). Any ideas? Thanks!

Looks like some kind of drain? For the headlights?

Can post some pics from a different angle? With something for reference? It doesn't look like anything important.

it goes on the back of the turn signal (possibly headlight) housing, check all four and put it back on the one that's missing it :D

Both the turn signals were missing the drain; so, I re-installed one and will order the part for the other. Thanks guys; I love the forum. Here is a pic of the new addition to the family. Thanks again![IMG]

Those fellows are more of a "splash resistant" vent to allow pressure (hot bulb) to equalize.
Many times they have some sort of filter media, like a bit of foam.
Savvy desert travelers will stuff a small wad of cotton in a vent with no filter to limit dust getting into the housing.

Hey; any idea what the part number would be for this rubber drain on the back of the front turn signal? I can't seem to locate one. Thanks.

Have to check with dealer. It may not be sold separately.

the ones from Toyota should be a little piece of tube with screen material. the one you have is on the aftermarket housings (all the ones I've had)

Both are missing off my turn signals. Been gone for years.
