    Replacing injectors and fuel pump on a 2001 Tacoma, 2wd MT 2RZ 2.4L 4cyl.

I'm trying to find the part number for the 2 round washers/gaskets used around the union bolt that connects the delivery pipe to the fuel inlet pipe.

In the following photo the arrow is pointing to one of the washers still on the union bolt.

Buy a napa fuel filter, it'll come with four of those "gaskets"

Or just take one into any auto parts store and hand it to the person behind the counter, or go to an Ace or Lowes and buy copper washers the same size.

Or you can put the washer on the back of a vise (or any large heatsink) and take a plumber's torch to it.. let it cool back to room temperature on it's own and boom! Brand new to you reusable gaskets

The filter I bought did have new copper washers for the inlet/outlet pipes going into the filter.

This is for where it connects to the fuel rail.

I know I could throw in a generic copper washer, but it looks so different, I have to assume there's some reason it's not a regular copper washer. Or maybe not. Who knows.

I ended up heating up the existing "gasket" per your suggestion. It's accessible enough that if it gives me an problems it'll be easy to swap out.

I thought those were stainless steel washers. At least that's what they looked like when I bought them from Toyota.

You're possibly right, I genuinely don't know what the oem material is, I called them copper out of default cause that's what what my stuck in the past brain says they always are.. I've never bought new fuel rail gaskets because I always do the trick I described above and have never had one fail on me. I've bought new for industrial equipment cause jackasses before me torque down too hard and mar up the surface making the leak worse, those aren't salvageable..but new ones were always copper for me
