    Never heard of these. In your opinion, why are these better than Coleman grills?

    Made from thick aluminum that will last a lifetime. Very easy to disassemble/clean. Great flame output. Recessed knobs make it easy to store/transport/fit into tight spaces. Same knobs are smooth and make it easy to control the flame. And from my experience, it's the only "Made in Murica" product that actually carries the implied quality.

    18" dual burner with windscreen and the new/additional cross-slats (compare the 2nd and 3rd photos in the original post). The extra slats make it easy to put smaller items on there (and not have them fall through). Partner Steel offers this as an option.

    The 18" is enough to fit my 10" cast iron pan and a pot to boil water (or a moka pot). I cook for one person 90% of the time, two people 9% of the time, and it's plenty large enough. If you'll be cooking for 3+ on the regular, I'd opt for the 22" one.

    Also look into their griddles. I don't have one myself, but folks on expo rave about them like they're the second coming.

    Thoughts on the two burner with separating hinge?

    Haven't seen one in person, so going on photos.

    The separating hinge option seems to have to small hinges vs one full-length hinge. That will be slightly less secure/stable. From the photos, I'm also not sure whether windscreens are an option w/ separating hinges (can't imagine why they wouldn't be, but they're an important thing to have IMO).

    I do see it being useful, though. If you put your stove inside a chuckbox or a slider container similar to Goose Gear offerings, it may be useful to not have the lid/windscreens there, so the break apart hinge would help. If you plan on mostly using the stove on a "separate" table (or other non-space-restricted surface), I don't think the break apart hinge be of much use.

    // edit:

    Totally misunderstood what the hinge is for. This one separates the 4-burner stove into two stoves. Yeah, that can be very handy. But I'd be concerned about no windscreens. Winds can and do put the flame out on stoves without wind block. Also, you probably won't be able to use both halves of the stove independently. I suspect that the propane attachment will be on one stove, and will pass propane to the second half when attached.

    I was leaning toward the separating hinge so I could use it with bigger pans if needed. Otherwise you have to go to a 18" pan to use two 9" pans which aren't every large pans. 22" stove would would let you use two 10" pan which aren't large either. Separating would let you use any size pan. That was my thought anyway.
