Agreed, as that person could buy them as new takeoffs with the rest of the pro suspension from a pro owner on this very site for 1500-2000. Or just buy something better

I considered the Pro, but the deal breaker was that it only came in the double-cab short bed. I wanted the long bed access cab, so I went with the Off-Road and am considering suspension mods, tires, etc. I think I'll be much happier in the end with what I cobble together and be uniquely mine.

Agreed, if you try to build an exact pro clone with new oem parts, it doesn’t make sense. I’ve also not seen anyone go that route.

Cloning a TRD Pro probably costs just as much as a TRD Pro Tundra

Likely. Imagine cloning a pro tundra, you need to buy the stamped bedsides. o_O

Cloning a trim for any car is wack IMO

Now adding a feature from another trim that you really wanted but you could not get...well have at it! You saved thousands on crap you didn't want and have your fake scoop or a clone grill to enjoy.

i like aspects of the Pro but the whole package isnt worth the price. speaking as someone who paid their truck off in 6 months... i could afford a pro but i didnt need or want what it came with.

A nice honest dealer will sell you one at the same price as a fully loaded TRD OR. My brother got his brand new 2019 Pro for $43k

It cost me around $4k to convert my fully loaded OR to a PRO, (less the hood which I am not a fan of anyway). I bought take-offs TRD Foxes and the rest during 40% TRD sale.
