    Hello, this is Max.
I am new to this forum so I am hoping to get a little information on how to acquire some replacement items for my new, old truck.
    1. I only have one key for the vehicle which does operate the central locking. I need to get replacement spare keys which I believe have to have the right chip. I do not have the key code.
What is the best way to get a working spare key?

    2. The 16 inch 6 stud wheels are badly corroded. Where can I purchase new rims? Also which are the best type of rims for this vehicle?

    1. Call a local lock smith and have new keys made. Where I live some guy in a van showed up and it took him like 10 minutes to copy my key.

    2. look in your local forum for take-offs and you can probably score a free/cheap set of wheels. Under forums, look for your specific regional forum.

    There were 2 different keys.
    A “G” and a “Dot” key.
You need to know what key you have.
    Then order the correct key.

As for the wheels, I bet someone swapped your factory wheels with off-road wheels.
As the early off-road wheels (like mine) had powder coat issues and eventually corrod.

Thank you for that info. My key has a small dot near the plastic key head. So I should order the blanks from a Toyota dealer, or other source?

Check Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace for used wheels.
