    Hello Tacoma World,

Bought a 2013 TRD last weekend and at a Boy Scout event this morning someone pulling out next to me while parked yanked off my front bumper cover with the side of his Chevy (he thought he was plowing through snow).

My question is for anyone with experience replacing bumper covers can you please assist with confirm parts needed... not wanting to take to a body shop for an Arm/Leg:

    -Front Bumper Cover X-Runner #5211904906
-Cover Ext Left and Right #16 L/R
    -Lower Grill
    -Retainer Clips (How Many?)

Also-- any recommendations on a great site to order would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome. Lousy way to start, though.
Have you considered an aftermarket Metal off/road type bumper? PLENTY of info about them here on TW.

It was a Dad in the Troop... he said he would reimburse me... but we want to keep insurance out of it. His damage was worse.
I looked at the after market bumpers and they are amazing! Just out of reach of my budget right now.
    Thanks!

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
Best if luck with that, times like this bring out the worst in people's character when it comes to paying. I hope it works out for you.

Once you price what the stealerships want to replace Toyota's plastic abomination you may find that a steel bumper is actually viable.

Just because you're using insurance doesn't mean you have to hate the guy that did it. You pay insurance so they can pay you when stuff like this happens. Whats gonna happen when this guy says "oh I'll pay you next week." Then its two weeks later and still no money. I imagine when you tell him that its gonna be at least $1,000 bucks to fix all that he won't be too excited or chomping at the bit to pay you.

What he said! Similar incident happened to me. I had my silverado sitting to get worked on at Americas Tire co, guy backing out took out my bumper. Older guy who said he was a master mechanic for Verizon motor pool- which he was. Nice guy- ordered parts and did swap- yet I spent a whole day at his house while he made repair. Not to much of a horror story- all worked out. Yet, I will never do again- being the nice guy was a pain and missed a day of work. We pay for insurance, so my theory is- use it.
