The ADD diff is different than the man hub diff (pass side, side gear and bearing).
A factory ADD diff can be converted to man hubs with a swap of CVs and spindles and retaining the ADD actuator/tube or swapping over the man hub tube.

A factory manual hub diff will not accept the ADD intermediate shaft.

because i have camburg long travel and 4wd.
what i was origionally told to do was get the tundra axle, swap the tacoma outer CV onto the axle shaft, and out a high angle inner boot on the inner joint.
well with manual hubs the spline count on the axle is different, on the tundy it is 26 and the tacoma is 34 so i cant possibly put the outer cv joint on to work with the manual hubs. the only way to do this and keeping manual hubs is getting a completely custom axle shaft cut ($$$$$$$$$).
OR i can swap to ADD and keep the tundra outer cv joint on the shaft and bypass the inssue all together
    FUCK FUCK FUCK.

    thank you for your help

add diff, add cvs, add hubs pressed or replace with add spindles. I was planning to long travel, but would be in your same boat.

We have a on going thread on ttora. some one said they put the manual ends on to the tundra shafts. Look up trails less traveled I believed he did this but went through to many manual cvs.
