Hi guys, I have a second gen Tacoma DCLB 4x4 with 167k mi. I am getting a frame and leaf spring replacement in the next few months. I have already sourced 1400 mi stock suspension from a 2021 Tacoma TRD Off Road that should bolt right on.
Does anyone one recommend having other parts replaced at the same time as the frame or at this mileage? I use the truck for moving construction supplies, wood processing, hunting, camping (drawer system/mattress under a camper shell), and only mild off roading (fields during harvest and deep snow) so far. I’d like to have a rig that is capable on moderate off road trails but still good to drive 90% of the time on highway.
